J - O - B [10 Jul 2004|11:52am] [ mood | annoyed ] [ music | i like that ] wow hi. i havent updated this thing in FOREVER. and well obviously manyyyy things have happened since its been like 3 months. but yea, who wants to try to remember all that. the point is, i got a job. my first job in my LIFE. at macys, in the juniors section. and what's funny is that yesterday was my first day...and now i want to quit. jk. that's not funny. but i really do want to quit. i do NOT enjoy working. i don't like putting clothes back on the racks. i don't like fixing the hangers and having people mess it up three seconds later. and thats ANOTHER problem. when i'm putting clothes back on the racks i forget that im working and start shopping...god. ringing people up and stuff is fine. but still. and also, during the group interview they said ok tell us something about yourself and such, so i said blah blah i'm great and at the end i added, (i don't know WHERE it came from), "and i love helping people. =)" then inside my head i screamed. what a LIE. i hate people. ugh. but really...i hate macys. whyyyyyyyy couldnt they just give me the job in COSMETICS like i applied for. i dont like this whole working business anymore. i just wanted to play with makeup all day. i mean cmon is that too much to ask. grr. and yea who cares about the whole 'oh it's good experience blah blah'. i will NOT be doing retail the rest of my life. the only experience i'm getting is how to be fake-nice to people. and i've already mastered that. p.s. my Cal orientation is on monday and tuesday. i hope i find a friend =/ p.p.s. please feel free to call human resources at macys and tell them that "hi, anum would be GREAT in cosmetics, transfer her there. thanks." k bye. 9 | PRINCESS

[30 Mar 2004|07:15pm] [ mood | indifferent ] [ music | naughty girl - beyonce ] So on Sunday, i did my QUEST service with Kirby, Nick Terry, and Vincent. we had a "Kid's Day" at the park. i know, i know, whyyyy was i doing something involving KIDS? because i was desperate and didn't have a service ok. i would say that it was actually very fun...but then i would be lying. nick gave me a cd with the pictures on it, and this is what he wrote on it: "Princess Anum using her acting skills to 'help' little children and dogs. HA. ew never again." that nick. haha. so true. ( i'm actually very good at being nice to kids. ) 12 | PRINCESS

[04 Mar 2004|05:13pm] [ mood | giddy ] aw i don't update this little lj often. grace was disappointed with that. so therefore, i will. =) tomorrow i get to go to Horner to promote the CCA program with fun art people: Garrett and Nick Terry and Sabrina, and that'll be fun, especially since Garrett and I get to spend the whole day talking to Mr. Law's classes! Mr. Law! <3 ... it's funny tho, considering i was never in CCA....but oh well. haha. i'll just make up stuff and tell the stupid kids that CCA is super fun. they'll believe me. =) AND for all you warm springs GATE kids, i get to see Mrs. Fickes! eeeeee! omg. after 6 years. wow. thats exciting. she's tooo cool!!! p.s. the weather is sooooo nice today and that makes me happy inside. ok that is all. k byee =) 10 | PRINCESS

disney on ice...continued =) [22 Feb 2004|05:28pm] [ mood | cheerful ] ok, so continuing from the last post...here are the pictures from Disney Princesses on Ice. YAY! sooo much fun! enjoy. =) Our cute princess shirts <3 Cuties! <3   Catherine is Mulan! haha Ami and Sarah are both Jasmine! And i'm just me... =) <3333333!!!! The elephant!! <3 The dwarfs!!! disney on ice! [22 Feb 2004|12:32am] [ mood | impressed ] [ music | a dream is a wish your heart makes - cinderella ]      ok, so friday night, ami, catherine, sarah shiekh and i, went to see Disney Princesses on Ice. and let me tell you, WOW. we were sooooo excited to just be there, and we were looking around at all the little girls who dressed up as cinderella and belle and stuff, and we were like aww, we're still so much cuter =) haha! so yea, it was completely amazing. they showed the introductions of  the stories of jasmine, sleeping beauty, snow white, ariel, mulan and belle. (omg the flying carpet,  the elephant, the fairies, the dwarfs, the glow in the dark fish, and it was sooo much fun to sing along! haha)... and then after belle, they like showed all the princesses meeting with their princes, and like dancing, 'happily ever after'...but i was like um hi WHERE is cinderella. and i was like omg if they dont have her, ill cry. how can they NOT have cinderella! and catherine and ami were like oh yea maybe they replaced cinderella with mulan...and i was like omg. no. and i was scared. then shiekh was great and reassured me that there willlll be cinderella since they showed the shoe in the beginning. and sure enough, only the first half was over, and the whole second half after the intermission, was devoted entirely to cinderella! how perfect! <3 it was wonderful. really. and it was even more fun since i was screaming out what they were going to say before they said it...watching cinderella like 80 times when you were 5 years old does that to you…haha! and it was all just soooo prettttttty and magical and sparkly and eeeeeeee! i <3 disney. thank you. oh and also, at the end of cinderella, when the prince put the glass slipper on her foot and he knew she was the one and stuff, ami had this genius idea. she was like 'omg. what if someone proposed to you like that, with a shoe...a diamond shoe.' i was like whoa. it’s a completely brilliant plan. how perfect. so now the girls will be best friends with whomever i’m going to marry, so they can tell him to do that. marvelous.        ok that is all. and jessica and jen…please be over it by now, we’re friends! next time, promise! =) 3 | PRINCESS
